November 13th - The Amazing Man of God

God told the prophet Jeremiah…

“When you seek me, you will find me, for you shall seek after me with all your heart, and I will be found by you, averring is Yahweh.”  (Jeremiah 29:13)

I do not know anyone who seeks after Him with "all" their “heart” – me included. Sometimes I want to do so, and start seeking Him, I just eventually get distracted. I figure it is a “heart” thing - our hearts are just not capable of doing so. God also told the prophet Jeremiah about the heart of men…

“The heart is crooked above all things, and it is mortally ill; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

Jesus was God in a flesh and blood body. He is the only man who has sought God with all His heart - and He is the Savior of the world. Jesus is an Amazing Man of God. Today, there are no others! Isaiah tells us that...

"We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and God has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:6)

However, after our resurrection and transformation from mortal flesh and blood bodies into immortal spiritual bodies like Jesus now has, humanity will be like Jesus. Only then will we see and enter the Kingdom of God and will have found Him in all His glory.

"And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man." (1 Corinthians 15:49)

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2 Corinthians 3:18)

"...our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body." (Philippians 3:20-21)

And then humanity be truly Amazing - all of us!
