I was reading the above and meditating on how, if at all, the election of DJT on November 5, 2024 fits with the prophecies related to the return of Jesus. And, I was made aware for the first time of something unique about verse 3 above - "he came forth conquering and that he should be conquering". There seems to be a gap of time between when "he came forth conquering" and when "he should be conquering".
I do not usually speculate on my Facebook page about current events and how they suggest an exact date when Jesus may return. But, I am going to make an exception today - Sorry.

My thoughts are as follows:
1. Trump "came forth conquering" in 2016, was rejected in 2020, yet came back in 2024 to become the white horse rider who "should be conquering". I think DJT will be used of God to bring peace and prosperity to the world. I think that at the end of his term the governing group of the United Nations will negotiate a seven year world peace agreement "with many" which may occur in the fall of 2028 and will begin the 70th week of Daniel.
"After the sixty-two sevens, Messiah shall be cut off, and there will be no adjudication for Him. The city and the holy place shall be laid in ruins with THE OTHER GOVENOR'S coming... Then he will be master of a covenant with many for one seven; at half of the seven, he shall cause to cease the sacrifice and the approach present; on a wing of the sanctuary shall be desolating abominations. Until the conclusion of the era the decided conclusion shall be poured forth on the desolation|." (Daniel 9:26-27)
2. After the seven year agreement begins the peace and prosperity will continue for another three and one half years (a total of seven years of prosperity - 2025 through 2032 - similar to the seven years of plenty in the days of Joseph before the famine that engulfed the world at that time).
3. That prosperity will end when a world leader commits "desolating abominations" involving the Temple in Jerusalem which will have been rebuilt by the Jews. That event causes a rebellion of Israel and Christianity which leads to wars, pestilence, famine, and death to half the world's population.
4. Then God intervenes and pours out his wrath on the Earth for a one year period. (Isaiah 34:8; 61:2; 63:4; Revelation 11:15-19). I think that wrath may begin in the fall of 2034.
5. The world leader appears to be killed and resurrected. At about the same time Satan snd his angelic followers are cast out of the celestials onto the earth by Michael. The world leader will probably become possessed to becomes the wild beast/Antichrist. (Revelation 12:7-13; 13:3)
6. Before that wrath of God starts there is a one half hour of silence in heaven and the two witnesses who have been preaching in Jerusalem for 1260 days are killed. Three days later they are resurrected and ascend into heaven with the whole world watching along with, in my opinion, all other believers throughout the past ages. (Revelation 8:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:9)
7. When God's wrath is finished, Jesus will return to earth with all believers to set up His 1,000 year reign over the earth. I think that will be in the fall of 2035 AD.
That’s how I envision what is coming and of course I may be wrong. Again, sorry for the rambling of this old man who in his old age spends most of his time trying to....
