October 9th - Concerning Jesus the Son of God

Concerning Jesus, the Son of God it is written...

"Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end…to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever."
(Isaiah 9:7)

“He who knew no sin was made sin on our behalf that in Him we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.” (1 Corinthians 5:21)

"He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2)

"He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 1:20)

“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness He judges and makes war."(Revelation 9:11)

“God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:8-11)

There you have it in a nutshell. God promises to establish justice forever. He appointed His Son Jesus to “get r done”… which got him killed by the very humanity He came to save. Yet God the Father raised Him from the dead, and Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God on high. Jesus will return and will then establish righteousness on the earth.
Eventually, He will raise every human from the dead and judge them.

"For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son." (John 5:22)

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it…And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne…the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and the graves gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.” (Revelation 20:11-13)

The judgment He renders will be Not Guilty, for in His death He atoned not just for the sins of Christians, but for the sins of the "whole world"

The result of such love for humanity is that all humanity will bow and confess Jesus is Lord and will say…

“…we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world." (John 4:42)
