August 2nd - I Have Faith That the Bible Is True

"And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you?" (Matthew 17:17)

The God of the Bible is my hope. It tells me that God loves me and all others. Because of His love and His Grace, humanity cannot miss His goal of being perfected, regardless of how much we fail in this age. Faith in what the Bible says sustains me in the midst of an "...unbelieving and perverse generation..." .

"Now faith is assuming that thing expected will come to pass, a conviction that things not seen will be seen... For by this faith people of old gained approval..." (Hebrews 11:1-3, 6)

I have Faith in what the Bible promises to happen even if it seems unlikely at the present time.
