There is peace and “rest” in this present evil age only to those who believe the good news/gospel. And I am talking about the good news that there is life AFTER death for "all" humanity.

The "free gift" cannot give “rest” to me in this present world unless I have faith that God will actually save me and those I care about by resurrecting us from death.
God raised Christ Jesus, “who became sin on our behalf”, and Jesus promised to return and raise us just as God raised Him.

All humanity will one day be saved out of death, but for NOW, in this present age, only those who BELIEVE God find the blessing of faith - Peace!
