What should people do until Jesus returns? The Scripture is relatively simple.
Micah said to be humble and do what is right and kind.
"He has told you, humanity, what is good; and what is the LORD requiring of you? Do right judgment and love kindness, and walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8)
Peter says not to kill or still from others and not interfere in the affairs of others.
"...let not any of you be suffering as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as an interferer in other's affairs..." (1 Peter 4:15)
Paul says to be quiet, do your own job, rejoice in the Lord, do what is right, pray about everything, and don't worry.
"...be ambitious to be quiet, and to be engaged in your own affairs, and to be working with your hands..." (1 Thessalonians 4:11)
"Be rejoicing in the Lord always! Again, I will declare, be rejoicing. Let your lenience be known to all men: the Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be guarding your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus!" (Philippians 4:4-7)
"For the saving grace of God made its advent to all humanity, training us that, disowning irreverence and worldly desires, we should be living sanely and justly and devoutly in the current eon, anticipating that happy expectation, even the advent of the glory of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who gives Himself for us, that He should be redeeming us from all lawlessness and be cleansing for Himself a people to be about Him, zealous for ideal acts. Speak of these things..." (Titus 2:11-15)
