The King Nebuchadnezzar types are proud men who exalt the magnificent accomplishments of humanity.
“All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar… The king spoke, saying, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?" (Daniel 4:28-31)
On the opposite side of the spectrum are the King David types who succeed and give God the glory for their success.
"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name." (1 Chronicles 29:11-13).
Both types are beneficiaries of the salvation of humanity. Even King Nebuchadnezzar eventually was humbled and gave glory to God.
“King Nebuchadnezzar, to the nations and peoples of every language, who live in all the earth: May you prosper greatly! It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation...the Most High is ruler over the realm of humanity, and bestows it on whom He wishes and sets over it the lowliest of men." (Daniel 4:1-3, 17)
Everyone will humble themselves before God, and confess Jesus is Lord.
“For it is written, as I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God….of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. " (Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:10-11)
If they do not believe in this life, then it will occur when all of the dead are gathered before "the great white throne" after the resurrection...
“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away….and I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne…" (Revelation 20:11-12)

When humbled before God, humanity will finally become successful!
